ESPN analyst dislocates shoulder while determining Fantasy League Draft order


The NFL season is upon us and the fact that we are less than two from it can only mean one thing, Fantasy Football. Everyone is getting ready for the virtual league and the draft boards are mounting all over the world.

People can use the season results from the previous year in order to determine the Draft order or choose another activity to do that like a race for example. Other activities can be very dangerous, and injuries can occur.

That is exactly what happened to ESPN commentator Field Yates. He was preparing for his NFL Fantasy Draft, something that he can talk about during his shows on the network but now he will be talking about his trip to the hospital.

The injury over the Fantasy Draft

On Friday his colleague Adam Schefter posted details of the situation after the incident occurred and even the same Yates talked about the matter, as both of them took it to social media to announce the embarrassing situation.

“Breaking – @fieldyates shoulder. While engaging in an activity to determine the draft order in his fantasy football league at @espnfantasy Ultimate Draft Weekend in the Bahamas, Yates dislocated his shoulder, per sources. The injury resulted in a brief hospitalization, but Yates now has been discharged, and is aiming to be ready for opening day,” Schefter posted on his social media platforms.

Yates said that details were coming next week so stay tuned. “Worst pain of my life. However, many on the beach were calling me the Lawrence Taylor of beach football. Most importantly: @Stephania_ESPN is a hero Full story coming on @fantasyfocus on Monday at 10 AM EST,” so I guess we will have to wait and see to know the details of the injury.
